One Voice Junior Choir (OVJC) is uniquely designed to be an exciting training program for young singers and performers to start building confidence as a young singer and develop their musicality and performance skillset. It is also the perfect stepping stone experience for those who are seriously interested in auditioning for One Voice Children’s Choir. Participation should expect to participate for the duration of the season. 

 

OVJC allows children and youth, Grades 1-9 an entry level One Voice Children’s Choir experience as they develop musicality, vocal ability, emotional connection and confidence in performance. Choral education will focus on basics of music theory, sight singing, blend, diction, rhythm and phrasing. One Voice Children offers customized at-home practice materials for singers to apply and continue their learning at home. Through practice rehearsals, singers develop their abilities to harmonize, interpret sheet music, and refine their vocal techniques. The choir fosters a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork, providing aspiring young artists with the necessary foundation to thrive within the OVCC's musical community and beyond.

 

WHO: Children & Youth from 1st Grade to 9th Grade

WHEN: Wednesdays September 2025 - May 2026. Studio holidays observed following the Jordan School District Calendar (Thanksgiving, Winter Recess and Spring Break)

• ​4:00-4:45pm for Grade 1 ($65/month)

• 4:45-6:15 for Grades 2-5

• 5:30-7:00 for Grades 6-9

Choir members grades 2-9 will overlap between 5:15-6pm for the combined choir rehearsal portion of class, or they will rehearse in separate studio rooms during this time

COST: $75/month + annual $60 registration fee

First and last month's fees are billed at the top of each semester (September 1 and January 1)

Please note that registration and tuition fees are nonrefundable. Notification of cancellation in the middle of a season should be communicated by the 15th of the month in order to avoid future charges.
